Clinical Philosophy / Approach to Care
My clinical approach is child-centered, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate, with an emphasis on building genuine, trusting relationships where children and adolescents feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow. I strive to meet each client where they are, using evidence-based practices including CBT, trauma-informed care, and play-based interventions to help youth develop emotional awareness, healthy coping skills, and resilience. I believe meaningful progress happens through collaboration, partnering closely with caregivers and support systems to create lasting change both in and outside of therapy. Above all, I value authentic connection and compassionate care, recognizing that healing begins when young people know they have someone truly in their corner.
Personal Interests / Fun Facts
Outside of work, I enjoy shopping and getting lost in a good book, especially a romance novel.
What Do You Enjoy About Your Work with DGS
What I love most about being a Mobile Crisis Therapist at DGS is the opportunity to meet kids and families where they are, both literally and emotionally. Being able to support them through difficult moments while partnering with the people who care for them makes this work incredibly meaningful to me.
