DGS has 5 locations throughout the state of Delaware – Dover, Lewes, Newark, Seaford, and Wilmington. Our facilities provide secure settings for high quality treatment services.

Therapeutic Interventionist
Provide behavioral support to teachers in classroom and early childhood settings. Interventionist is responsible for implementing trauma-informed practices, collaborating with educational staff, designing and implementing behavioral interventions, data collection, and participating in school-based and agency team meetings.
Call Center Counselor/Dispatcher
The Call Center Counselor/Dispatcher position provides 24/7 onsite coverage for the Delaware Children and Youth Behavioral Health Crisis Hotline.
Front Desk / Medical Records Coordinator
Under the supervision of the NCC Administrator, the Front Desk/ Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for: Answering phones, taking messages, managing the waiting room, checking in clients, Scheduling appointments at check out, verifying insurance. This position is also tasked to open, close, and audit all clinical documentation, scan information into the electronic health record, review and send medical records requested by third parties along with other duties assigned by the NCC Administrator.
School Counselor – NCC
The School Counselor will provide therapeutic mental health counseling to children, youth, and their families with the goal of improving overall functioning in the school, home, and the community. The school counselor will also be looked upon to provide coaching and consultation to school faculty as needed.
Outpatient Therapist – School Based
Provides therapeutic mental health counseling to children, youth, and their families in the school setting to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis.
Outpatient Clinical Coordinator – Seaford
Responsible for the organization and supervision of the clinical operations and case management of the Outpatient Program, including the establishment and maintenance of clinical standards and practices, internal monitoring procedures, staff training and supervision.
Outpatient Therapist – Dover
The Outpatient Therapist provides therapeutic mental health counseling to children, youth, and their families to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis.
Outpatient Therapist – Seaford
The Outpatient Therapist provides therapeutic mental health counseling to children, youth, and their families to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis.
Outpatient Therapist – Lewes
The Outpatient Therapist provides therapeutic mental health counseling to children, youth, and their families to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis.
Community Services Therapist
Provides intensive community based therapy for children, adolescents and their families.
Family Based Therapist – Sussex County
Provides intensive family, individual and crisis-based interventions to youth and families, sometimes in the client’s home/environment during “non-traditional hours”, according to the needs and schedules of the families on their caseload.
Family Based Therapist – Kent County
Provides intensive family, individual and crisis-based interventions to youth and families, sometimes in the client’s home/environment during “non-traditional hours”, according to the needs and schedules of the families on their caseload.
Part-time Positions
Crisis Clinician (on-call)
Assess and counsel individuals in crisis regarding psychological and emotional problems (such as out of control behavior, suicidal/homicidal ideation and/or family problems) while maintaining safety and implementing therapeutic treatment plans in a community based setting.
