I’ve been working in the Mental/Behavior Health Field for about 2.5 years now, first starting out as a Direct Support Professional then transitioning to YPSS. I happen to enjoy what I do and hope to continue to grow in my field. A couple facts about me are that I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, I have a Bachelors in Kinesiology, and that I am Haitian American.

Hi my name is Virginia and I’ve been with Delaware Guidance Services since February 2026. I grew up right outside of DC and have been living in Delaware since August 2025. I’m currently in college pursuing a BA in psychology with a triple minor in criminology, addiction studies, and sociology. In my free time I love going to the beach, doing arts and crafts, and listening to music. My favorite animals are cows, and someday I hope to live somewhere with a lot of land so I can have a lot of cows!

Working with DGS has not only helped me assist teens in healing themselves, but assisted me in healing my inner teen as well. Peer support means using lived experience to guide others onto a path of recovery, DGS helped make that possible. My whole life revolves around my dedication to mental health and reducing the negative stigma surrounding it.
