Currently working on my Masters in Mental Health Counseling-Specialization in Trauma/Crisis-Walden UniversityClinical Philosophy / Approach to CareI am a Crisis Clinician at Delaware Guidance Services, where I provide crisis support to children and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
I work collaboratively with young clients and their families to create a supportive, strengths-based environment that promotes resilience, emotional well-being, and healthy development. My treatment approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based, with interventions tailored to each child’s unique needs, goals, and stage of development. I strive to build trusting therapeutic relationships that empower clients and families while fostering lasting, meaningful change.
Personal Interests / Fun FactsOutside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and connecting with nature through activities like hiking, walking local trails, and exploring new parks.
I’m also an avid reader, especially when it comes to horror novels—I enjoy a good suspenseful story and discovering new authors. Spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and finding opportunities to recharge in nature help me maintain balance and bring my best self to the work I do. I look forward to getting to know each client and creating a welcoming, supportive space where they feel comfortable being themselves.
What Do You Enjoy About Your Work with DGSOne of the things I enjoy most about working at Delaware Guidance Services is the opportunity to support children, adolescents, and their families as they navigate challenges and celebrate growth.
It is incredibly rewarding to be part of a compassionate team that is committed to helping young people build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to thrive.
