Summary/Objective
Under the supervision of the Outpatient Program Manager, the Outpatient Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the organization and supervision of the clinical operations and case management of the Outpatient Program, including the establishment and maintenance of clinical standards and practices, internal monitoring procedures, staff onboarding and supervision

Essential functions:

Clinical Supervision

  • Directs Outpatient program staff and supervises the delivery of Outpatient services
  • Provides ongoing group and individual supervision for assigned clinicians
  • Provides written evaluation to each employee supervised individually, or by way of a team, in a format that encourages discussion of achievement and area needing improvement
  • Review, approve, and monitor clinical documentation for clinical staff
  • Prioritize client needs including intake, transfers, and psychiatric evaluations
  • Review, analyze, and monitor clinical reports to ensure expectations are met by clinicians
  • Maintains a partial Outpatient caseload, size to be determined by Program Manager

Administrative

  • Provide site/program specific training for new clinicians
  • Conducts screenings and interviews of potential Outpatient Clinical staff
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support clinical and operational needs including development and oversite of contracts
  • Assists and supports Outpatient Program Manager as requested related to programmatic functions
  • Participates in relevant professional development and learning activities
  • Participate in Clinical On-Call Supervisor Rotation

Supervisory responsibilities: Clinical and administrative Supervision of assigned staff

Work environment: Office based, Partial telecommuting with approval

Physical demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, may be requested to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Travel required: Between sites as needed for supervision, meetings, etc.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree which qualifies for licensure in the state of Delaware as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), License Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist
  • Possess Delaware Clinical Licensure (social work, psychology, counseling)
  • Minimum of 3 years post licensure clinical experience preferably within an evidenced-based or evidenced-informed child and family interventions
  • Minimum of 2 years post graduate supervisory experience preferably within an evidenced-based or evidenced-informed child and family interventions
  • · Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 or more continuing education credits in clinical supervision within last year
  • Multilingual
