Salary: From $52,000.00 per year, plus program premium of $4,000 annually.

Under the supervision of the Intensive Clinical Services Program Manager, the Intensive Community Services (ICS) Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the organization and supervision of the clinical operations and case management of the ICS Program, including project/program coordination, contract and fee compliance, ICS staff onboarding and supervision, establishment and maintenance of clinical standards and practices, program monitoring and reporting, and the growth of new program opportunities.
There are two positions available. This role is responsible for supporting clinicians statewide and can be performed out of any of the DGS statewide locations (Wilmington, Newark, Seaford, Dover).
Essential functions:
Program Administration
- Oversee Family-Based Mental Health Services (FBMHS) and Outpatient/Therapeutic Support for Families (OPTSF) clinicians to ensure services are provided with clinical integrity and program policies, procedures and expectations are met
- Review, analyze, monitor and submit program reports internally and externally
- Management of the referral and intake process through DPBHS
- Coordinate with Program Manager in the case review process to establish procedures, ensuring deadlines, and monitor chart completeness and case confidentiality
- Ensure program compliance with agency and accreditation standards
- Ensure that all contract goals and objectives pertinent to the program are met
- Engage in the process of effective recruitment of personnel
- Engage in planning and program conception, including the development of program proposals with the Program Manager
Clinical Oversight
- Provides individual direct supervision of FBMHS and OPTSF clinicians and assist them in development of clinical skills
- Co-facilitates group supervision of FBMHS and OPTSF teams
- Reviews and provides feedback and corrections to therapists’ documentation
- Implements and monitors Eco-Systemic adherence protocols and effectively documents therapist strengths and training needs
- Provides live-supervision, both scheduled and on-demand, to further individual and team growth and development, focused on crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety
- Ensures clinical model fidelity within OPTSF
- Participates in Clinical On-Call Supervisor Rotation
General Responsibilities
- Participates in required clinical, didactic, and supervisor trainings for Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) at the Philadelphia Child and Family Institute to provide oversight of therapists and collaboration with ESFT Trainer
- Participates in OPTSF professional development and learning activities
- Adheres to professional code of ethics and conduct
- Communicates effectively and professionally with all stakeholders
- Ensures successful working relationships with community referral partners
- Demonstrates continuous commitment to DGS’ core values
Competencies/Capabilities:
- Experience with high-needs children at-risk of out of home placement and their families
- Diagnostic & psychotherapeutic services, individual growth & development
- Strong background in family systems, preferably Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy

Supervisory responsibilities: Family-Based Mental Health Services (FBMHS) and Outpatient/Therapeutic Support (OPTSF) Clinicians
Work environment: Office based, Partial telecommuting with approval, 24/7 program
Physical demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, may be requested to lift up to 15 pounds periodically
Travel required: Between sites as needed for supervision, meetings, etc.
Minimum qualifications:
- Possess Delaware Clinical Licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), License Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist.
- Minimum of 3 years post-licensure clinical experience preferably within an evidenced-based or evidenced-informed child and family interventions such as FFT, MDFT, ABFT, MST, and FBMHS.
- Minimum of 1 year post-licensure supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Preferred qualifications:
- Approved Clinical Supervisor designation
- 12 hours Clinical Supervision training
