School Program

In contract with various school districts throughout Delaware, DGS has school-based counselors to supplement the guidance and mental health services being provided by the districts to their students. The services these counselors provide include group, individual, and family therapies. They do classroom observations, and consult with teachers and parents to help devise plans to help improve classroom behavior and academic functioning. They help to carry out the developmental guidance programs, and can help develop school-wide programs for reinforcing positive behaviors.
